Filtering Preferences

Filtering Preferences is the control panel for your filtering service.  You can launch Preferences in one of several ways:

  1. From the System Tray:  Right-click on the system tray icon, and click on the Preferences option.

     

  2. From the Start Menu:  Click on Start, Programs, Filter, and click on Preferences.

  1. Advanced users may launch Filter7.exe file directly from the C:\PROGRAM FILES\S4F\ directory.

Once launched, the Preferences menu contains several menu selections on the left:

Click any of these menu items below for more information on the left navigation options:

About The default selection.  This option displays version and support information.
User View the current user, login, or logout.
Site Review Submit a site to be reviewed by our staff.
Administration Enable access the secure administrative options below.
  My Account Maintain your account online.
  Profiles Add, modify or delete filtering profiles.
  Options Adjust filtering software display and dial-up options.
  Maintenance Access filtering installation options.
  Upgrade Check for newer version of software.
